I created this series because of the great interest I received behind the scenes after I wrote Swirling: How to Date, Mate and Relate, Mixing Race, Culture and Creed. After a slurry of media appearances on CNN, USA Today, Chicago Tribune, Psychology Today the New York Daily News, plus podcasts, and radio shows, I received countless emails from men who were interested in dating black women, but the hesitation and outright fear of going for what the wanted was almost paralyzing.

It wasn't because these guys were wimps. The hesitation came from lack of exposure, and the assumption that black women weren't even interested in dating outside of their race or even, being accused of racial exploitation.
